Microsoft on Thursday confirmed it’s difficult a choice to award a multi-billion-dollar cloud computing contract to its rival Amazon.
US media reviews stated the contract valued at $10 billion (roughly Rs. 74,290 crores) is for modernising storage of categorised knowledge on the Nationwide Safety Company (NSA).
“Primarily based on the choice we’re submitting an administrative protest through the Authorities Accountability Workplace,” Microsoft stated in response to an AFP inquiry.
“We’re exercising our authorized rights and can achieve this fastidiously and responsibly.”
NSA spokesperson stated that it “will reply to the protest in accordance with acceptable federal rules,” whereas Amazon declined to remark.
